John Trudell of Onondaga, MI Wins Season Opener for The Shaheen Chevrolet Cadillac Late Model Sportsman!
On Friday May 9th, the Shaheen Chevrolet Cadillac Late Model Sportsman Division made their season debut! The Late Model Sportsman Division do NOT run heats just like the Performance Automotive Northwest Modifieds. John Trudell set fast time with a 13.867 and right behind him was Joey Barnhart with a 13.869 2 thousandths of a second separating our top 2 qualifiers! John Trudell was our feature winner! The division was low in numbers, but the Late Model Sportsman put on a show! Thank you to the drivers for showing up! Here is the results behind John Trudell: in 2nd place was the 12 of Dan Leeck of Birch Run, MI, coming home 3rd was Joey Barnhart in the 45 of Lansing, MI, a 4th place finish for the 1L of Tim Lahar of Lansing, MI, and rounding out the field was the 23 of Austin Jenks coming home 5th from Eaton Rapids, MI. The Shaheen Chevrolet Cadillac Late model Sportsman will be back in action on FRIDAY MAY 30TH!
